1. CDSE Entry (Combined Defence Services Examination)

It is a standard admission exam that is held to hire unmarried men and women, including widowed and divorced applicants, in all areas of the Indian military services.. The examination is conducted twice in a year and this year it was held on April and another is to be held on September.

2. TGC Entry (Technical Graduate Course)

The application is for the unmarried male engineering graduates for the permanent commission twice a year. There is no examination that is held for this course.

3. SSC Tech Entry

Applications are accepted from unmarried male and female engineering graduates as well as Widows of Defence Personnel for the Short Service Commission in the Indian Army in all the Arms/Services. Since it is a direct entry course, there isn’t a written test.

4. Special Entries for NCC

If the candidate has earlier done NCC, then they do not have to apply for any examination as this is a direct form of selection in which the candidate has to appear only for the SSB Interview.

5. University Entry Scheme (UES Entry Scheme)

As this is a Permanent Commission (PC) Job, only male candidates can apply for it. There are two entry interview schedules, with one of the entrances taking place on campus and the other in SSB centres.

6. Army Dental Corps (ADC) Entry:

Indian Army will Post the ADC notification 2023 for the dental aspirants. Indian citizens are invited to apply online for a short service commission in the Army Dental Corps in 2023, both men and women.

Procedure For Selection

Candidature is dependent strictly on merit, Only applicants (BDS/MDS) who participated in the NEET (MDS)-2023 National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test, administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi, on May 2, 2023, are eligible to submit an application. Candidates must provide a copy of their NEET (MDS)-2023 scorecard or mark sheet with their application.

Basic salary -Rs. 75,000 – Rs. 80,000 per month additionally when on field further allowances is provided depending on LOC.
